Amanda Black grew up among the lakes of Windermere, Florida where she graduated from Dr. Phillips High School. At the University of Alabama and Seminole State College, she earned bachelor and specialist degrees in Interior Design, Studio Art, and Telecommunications and Film.
After working for large production companies such as HBO, ABC, Nickelodeon Studios, and Jim Henson Productions, Amanda resigned from the limelight to follow her dream of becoming a fist class interior designer. She gained immense knowledge and experience working for a prestigious interior design firm in Winter Park, Florida. During that time she designed corporate and healthcare projects across the country including the Lynx Central Station in Orlando, Florida.
In January 2005, Amanda launched Amanda Black Designs in her hometown of Windermere, Florida. Her distinguished talents and experience in all aspects of interior design have attracted exclusive clients across the country. Amanda is NCIDQ certified and professionally licensed by the state of Florida.
